Our
Story
People Street is a not-for-profit start-up utilising the power of community development to support systems to create great services.

We’ve been collaborating for more than 20 years iterating and finessing our approach. At the height of the pandemic we stood up an inclusive design research pilot within NHSX, incubating and testing our approach under fierce pressure. We spun out and set up People Street in 2022.
We collaborate with a range of teams and organisations including Home Office, Department Health & Social Care, NEL Cancer Alliance, Oxford University, University of Surrey and RAND Europe.
Team
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Our team is made up of more than 100 Community Leaders, Community Researchers and Community Facilitators. They are the heartbeat of People Street. Without their unwavering commitment to community development we wouldn't be here today.
They are supported by a multi-disciplinary team who are thoughtful and wise.
Work With Us
We’re always looking to connect with passionate, grounded individuals who are committed to listening to communities and addressing health inequalities.
Any current opportunities will be shared below — but even if there isn’t something that feels like the right fit right now, we’d still love to hear from you. We're always open to conversations and exploring ways we might collaborate in the future.
